The Center For Environmental Transformation is a renovated convent across the street from our greenhouse, gardens, orchard, and chickens. Beginning in March 2011 we will host weekend and week long retreats in the Center focused on Environmental Justice. With theory and action hand-in-hand the retreats transform our hearts and the neighborhood. Our location is key in teaching and addressing systemic issues of environmental injustice. Camden City is dumped on by all the region's trash, sewage, stormwater, recycling, and heavy industry.
Come and learn how we can use our creativity to create a community of people who believe another world is possible, creating jobs in Camden while improving the environment. The Center sleeps 24 people.
